Jonathan is a fully qualified teacher with over 15 years of experience working with young people. He has spent eight years teaching in secondary schools, including significant time in a specialist Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting.
Alongside his classroom experience, Jonathan has worked closely with vulnerable children and young adults as part of an impact team supporting those who had been excluded from education or forced to leave their homes. This work focused on building trusted relationships through befriending, socialising, and spending time getting to know each young person as an individual, providing consistency, support, and positive adult role models.
Jonathan is passionate about creating inclusive, nurturing environments where young people with additional needs can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This ethos underpins the vision and values of our alternative provision.
